Terms of Service

Last updated: September 16, 2026

By accessing chinamarketguide.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What This Site Is (and Is Not)

China Market Guide is an independent information and editorial platform about Chinese wholesale markets, manufacturing, and import processes.

  • We are not a manufacturer, trading company, freight forwarder, or customs broker.
  • We do not sell products, process payments on behalf of buyers or suppliers, or hold goods or funds.
  • Guides, price tables, supplier articles, and case studies are provided for general informational purposes and reflect conditions observed at the dates shown on each page.

2. No Warranty on Third-Party Transactions

Any transaction you enter into with a supplier, factory, freight forwarder, inspection company, or other third party is solely between you and that third party. We:

  • do not vet suppliers on your behalf as an agent,
  • cannot warranty product quality, compliance, export/import legality, or delivery,
  • are not liable for any loss, dispute, defect, or damages arising from your dealings with third parties.

You alone are responsible for performing due diligence — including factory audits, pre-shipment inspections, trademark/IP clearance, and lawful use of payment channels.

3. Informational Accuracy & Prices

Prices, MOQs, lead times, and fees published on the Site are observational snapshots specific to date(s) noted in each article. Market conditions change; figures may be outdated at the time you read them and must be independently confirmed with suppliers before relying on them for planning or purchases.

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, tax, accounting, or licensed customs-broker advice for your jurisdiction. For import compliance, consult qualified professionals or your national customs authority.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: scrape bulk content for republication; submit spam, unlawful, or request-fraud through our forms; attempt to probe or disrupt site security; or use our brand or content to mislead others about a commercial relationship with us.

6. Intellectual Property

All original text, tables, illustrations, and layout on the Site are © 2026 China Market Guide. You may quote short excerpts with a visible link back to the source page. Systematic copying, TL;DR-style full replication, or AI-training aggregate harvesting without written permission is not permitted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, China Market Guide, its operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or reliance on its content — even if advised of the possibility. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Paid consultations or reports, when introduced, will be governed by the specific scope agreed in writing (email is sufficient). Refunds, where offered, are stated at the point of purchase. Nothing in the purchase changes the third-party transaction disclaimers in §2 — we never take custody of your goods or supplier payments.

9. Governing Terms & Changes

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
